You have different testing options on the island.
The St. Maarten AIDS Foundation organizes free, anonymous, rapid-testing days throughout the year. Click here for the next testing date. Same tests are offered confidentially at the AIDS Foundation Office.

No appointments outside of opening hours.
On the French St. Martin, three options for HIV testing are available, all of them free, rapid and confidential:

HIV Testing offered on:
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30am to 12:30pm.
AIDES also operates a mobile HIV testing van that visits neighborhoods such as Sandy Ground, French Quarter and Grande Case. Please call or email AIDES for the weekly schedule.

The CIDDIST team is also available at the French Quarter Dispensary on Mondays from 8am to 12pm, and at the Sandy Ground Dispensary on Tuesdays from 8am to 4pm. All testing is free and anonymous.

Mondays to Fridays 8am to 5pm
You can also be tested through any of the doctors practicing on the island. The doctor will give you a request form, and send you to one of the laboratories on the island. All laboratories require a request form from a doctor. You can choose to do the test through the Dutch side SLS (“the lab”) in the Medical Center in Cay Hill, or in the laboratory sites on Dutch Quarter, Cole Bay and Betty’s Estate. You can also go to one of the two laboratories on the French side of the island:

Please note that your Doctor Card will usually only be valid on the Dutch side.
