RESOLUTION
We the students of the conference youth consultation: lighting the path to a brighter future have all agreed to become advocates of HIV/AIDS education through:
- Helping to instill self respect in my peers
- Being involved in activities that promote communication skills
- Helping to further to educate parents and peers on HIV AIDS Issues
- Helping to eradicate stigma of persons with a sexually transmitted disease
- Helping to bring Assertiveness to our peers
- Helping to increase self esteem
- Work with school boards on confidentiality policies in relation to medical information
- Educating school staff on First AID
- Helping staff to eradicate stigma of persons with a sexually transmitted disease
- Promote the importance of medical check ups
- Accessibility of condom vending machines in more client friendly areas
- Promote confidentiality within our community
